Shabbir Ahmed is an Indian lyricist who primarily writes songs for Bollywood movies. He was born on 12 October 1973 in Uttar Pradesh, India.
Shabbir Ahmed started his career in the music industry as a lyricist in 2003 with the film “Tere Naam.” He gained recognition for his work in the song “Tere Naam” from the movie, which was a huge hit. Since then, he has written lyrics for several Bollywood movies, including “Wanted” (2009), “Dabangg” (2010), “Ready” (2011), “Rowdy Rathore” (2012), “Kick” (2014), and “Housefull 3” (2016), among others.
Shabbir Ahmed has won several awards for his work in Bollywood, including the IIFA Award for Best Lyricist for the song “Teri Meri” from the movie “Bodyguard” in 2012. He has also been nominated for several other awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist.
